Mr. Harry Lee James “Whoo” Rosemond, 22, departed this life on January 8, 2016 in Augusta, GA.
“Whoo,” was a sophomore at Greenbrier High School where he was a gifted wrestler. He was affiliated with Harvest Time Ministries in Evans, GA and Victory Chapel in Augusta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Harry Rosemond; legal guardians, Joe Nell and Alice Gantt; great-grandparents, Willie James and Cora Gantt; aunts, Inez Mackey, Gladys Rosemond and Cynthia Nelson; uncles, Thomas Earl Gantt and James Lewis Gantt.
Left to treasure many fond memories are his guardians, Joel and Grace Anderson of Evans, GA; grandmother, Mary Jane Rosemond of Greenville, SC; sisters, Mary Nicora Quotisha of Greenville, SC and Pleasant Gantt of Philadelphia, PA; brothers, Anthony Latrell Watson of Greer, SC, Jarvis D. Sammy Rosemond of Greenville, SC and Daryl Nichol of Philadelphia, PA; aunts, Gloria Blakely, Teresa Babb and Ollie Tina Jones, all of Greenville, SC and Mildred Cruell of Travelers Rest, SC; uncles, Jerry Lee Rosemond and Broadus Hosea Rosemond, Sr., both of Greenville, SC and Emil Ellis of Okinawa, Japan and a host of other relatives and friends.
