Ms. Hattie Mae “Tinsey” Putman, 72, passed Wednesday, September 12,2018, at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown. She was a daughter of the late Lewis Hawkins and Mamie Lee Putman.
Surviving: stepmother, Ada Williams of Greenville; two daughters, Valerie (Arthur) Cox and Glinda Abercrombie, both of Greenville; one son, Richard Williams of Greenville; two sisters, Diane Thurmond and Vickie (John) Samuel, both of Greenville; five brothers, Willie Thurmond, James Thurmond, Rev. Michael (Teresa) Thurmond and Ted Thurmond, all of Greenville and Donell (Rev. Mary) Thompson of Pelzer; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
