Mrs. Hazel Gray Rucker, 87, of 31 Zet Court, Greenville, SC, departed this life on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Heartland West. She was born on Saturday, May 26, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Bishop Gray and Eula Cheeks Latimer. She was married to the late Sgt. Robert Rucker.
She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church where she was a member of the Gospel Choir.
Her memories will be cherished by one daughter, Jane (Jerry Richington) Marion of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, Gwendolyn Rucker, Phillip Marion, III, Shanika Terry, Shawnquilla Terry and Joseph Terry, Jr. all of Greenville, SC; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
