Hazel Todd

Mrs. Hazel Mayes “Granny” or “Ma Fatty” Todd, 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, transitioned on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at her home. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Lydia Watley Mayes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfonzo “June” Todd, Jr.; sisters, Annie Evans and Betty Sue Sherman and brothers, Willie and Billie Mayes.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her daughters, Barbara A. “BB” Boyd, Panchetta “Pat” (Leonard) Jenkins, and Stephanie R. Todd, all of Greenville, SC and Flora B. (Curtis) Todd of Columbia, SC; sons, Warren G. Todd and Frederick T. Sherman, both of Greenville, SC; a special nephew, Marshall L. Mayes of Greenville, SC; sisters, Bessie Caldwell of Greenville, SC and Juanita Garrison of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Calvin Mayes of Laurens and Melvin (Shirley) Mayes, both of Greenville, SC; a sister-in-law, Mary Groves of Mauldin, SC; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
