Helen Todd

.Mrs. Helen Jean Moss Todd, 82, was born in Westminster, SC to the late Jim and Mamie Rosemond Moss on April 4, 1934. God called her home on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

She retired from Greenville Hospital System after 44 years of service.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years of marriage, Elbert Lee Todd, Sr.

Mrs. Helen Jean Moss Todd joined the St. Matthews Baptist Church, Westminster, SC at an early age and after she moved to Greenville, SC joined Rock Hill Baptist Church #1 over 20 plus years ago, then under the leadership of Rev. James Hester.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories: daughters, Carol Moss (Jerome) Scott of Westminster, Linda Moss (Alvin) Chiles of Mauldin, Joan Moss (Henry) Jenkins of Walhalla and Laritha Ann Todd of the home; sons, Walter Lee Moss of Westminster and Elbert Lee (Tonya) Todd, Jr. of Anderson; one granddaughter, Kiyanna S. Todd of the home; brother, MacArthur (Margaret) Moss of Greenville; special sister-in-law, Audrey Moss of Washington, DC; goddaughters, Sherry “Nissie” (Ronald) Suber, Janice L. (Danny) Calhoun of Greenville, and Baronda L. Gadson of Simpsonville; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Helen Jean Moss Todd was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Moss and James Moss.
