Mrs. Henrietta Whitmire Gamble, 79, of 64 Fudora Circle, Simpsonville, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Greenville Health System. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Ulysess S. and RosaLee Pressley Whitmire.

Her educational background included Sullivan Street Elementary and Sterling High School, both in Greenville, Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC, Allen University in Columbia, and William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ.
