Herbert McDowell

Mr. Herbert McDowell, 85, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown. He was the son of the late Idozier McDowell and Ida Grafferie McDowell.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Virginia L. Woody McDowell of the home; three sons, Arthur McDowell and Herbert L. (Delores) McDowell, Jr., both of Greenville, and Timothy McDowell of Piedmont; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
