Mr. Herman “Pops” or “Bi-Lo” McCullough, 73, of Piedmont, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Heartland Health Care Center-Greenville West. He was the son of the late John L. McCullough and Ethel Evans Shumate.
He was a graduate of the Greenville County School System and was employed by BI-LO Distribution Transportation and Piedmont Express Transportation.
He was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church, where he was involved in the Hospitality Committee, Unique Social Club and the Over the Hill Gang.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his loving wife, Gloria Washington McCullough of the home; two sons, Herman Avery (Trena) McCullough and Patrick McCullough, both of Greenville; one daughter, Tarsha Washington of Piedmont; one sister, Margaret Ann Epps of Greenville; three sisters-in-law, Jacqueline London, Carolyn Aiken, and Pamela Aiken, all of Greenville; seven brothers-in-law, Darrell Washington, Edward (Catherine) Washington, Harold Washington, Clark Aiken, Grady Aiken, Stanley Aiken and Grover Foster, all of Greenville; two aunts, Mary McCullough of Greenville, and Betty Grays of Georgia; one uncle, Clarence Breazeale of Greenville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two special cousins, Sharon Breazeale of Greenville, and Emmanuel McCullough of Pelzer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
