Mr. Herman George “Tootie” Page, was born on September 19, 1943, to Herman and Hattie Greene Page in Saint Albans, West Virginia.
He received his early education in public schools in Kanawha County and graduated from St. Albans High School, Class of 1961. Upon graduation, he left for New York City, where he worked for several years. He entered into the United States Air Force in August 1964.
On March 23, 1968, he married Joyce Holly, and to this union was born a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Page.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Eugenia (Trummer) Glover; and two brothers, Samuel Page and Herschel Page.
He had a passion for all sports and loved attending and talking about high school and college sports. He would travel near and far to attend an event. Herman never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, his daughter, the love of his life, Jennifer Page of Simpsonville, South Carolina; a very special grand-daughter, Jordan Page of Simpsonville, South Carolina; three sisters, Paskelana Page of Dunbar, West Virginia, Norma (Kenneth) Hobson of Washington, DC and Claudia Zollicoffer of Hampton, Virginia; one brother, Beauford (Yovonne) Page of Loganville, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
