Mr. Horace “Beechie” Curenton, Sr., 81, of Greenville, transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was the son of Cater and Lillie Mae Jones Curenton.
He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 30 years, Earnestine Williams Curenton.
He is survived by five daughters, Tammy (James) Davis and Lena (Fletcher) Aiken, both of Greenville, SC, Brenda Curenton of the home, Cynthia Curenton (Alfred) Massey of Fountain Inn, SC, and Elizabeth (Nelson) Cooley of Belton, SC; three sons, Donnie Curenton of Anderson, SC, Horace (Annette) Curenton, Jr. of Greenville, SC, and Steve (Sabrina) Curenton of Anderson, SC; a special niece, Mary Alice Golden of Greenwood, SC; twelve grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 11, 2021, 1:00 am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer SC.
