Horace McCollin

Mr. Horace Lennox “Uncle Baldy” McCollin, 81, of Greer, South Carolina departed this life on Monday, September 18, 2017, at his home. He was born in Trinidad, West Indies, and was a son of the late Ethelbert Percival and Gladys Viola Harding McCollin.

Horace was a graduate of Cambridge University and was a retiree after thirty- plus years the J.P. Stevens Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ethelbert, McCollin, Jr.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Cynthia D. McCollin of the home; daughter, Robin McCollin of Winter Park, Florida; son, Horace L. McCollin, Jr., of Charlotte, North Carolina; three sisters, Cynthia Barrett, Merlyn Boissierre and Patsy Belmontes, all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; three brothers, Wilfred McCollin of Germany, Lance McCollin of Tampa, Florida and Rueben (Annette) McCollin of Miami, Florida; two grandchildren Horace Lennox McCollin, III, of Greer, SC and Scott Giwa of Bradenton, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
