Hubert Talley

Mr. Hubert Earl Talley, 84, transitioned to his Heavenly home on April 23, 2019. He was a son of the late Henry and Maggie Butler Talley.

He was a 1953 graduate of Sterling High School and was formerly employed at Pilot Freight Trucking Company. He was a member of Mt. Olive CME Church where he participated as a WSG District Lay Leader, a Sunday School Teacher, a Local Lay Leader of Mt. Olive Ministry of Men and sang in the male choir.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Pepper Talley, and a grandson, Thomas Talley, Jr.

Surviving are one daughter, Margaret Talley (Scottie) Nance of Greenville; three sons, William R. (Sandra) Talley, Tommy L. (Connie) Talley, and Thomas E. Talley, all of Greenville; one sister, Jo Ellen Sullivan of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Scottie Nance, Jr., Yvette Fendley, Tamika (Brice) Frazier, Mikkel Mayes, Tasha Talley, Von Talley and Anthony (Maricha) Talley; great-grandchildren, Craig Fendley, Alexis Fendley, Alisha Fendley, Olicia Fendley, Kiyah Fraizier, Jeremiah Frazier, Nikkel Mayes, Avery Mayes, Rhianna Talley, Treysean Talley and Rhowmar Perote; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
