Mrs. Inez Walker, 96, transitioned from this side on Monday, April 25, 2016 at The Cottages at Brushy Creek in Greer, SC. Born in Abbeville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Minnie Walker.
She was a retiree of Shriners Hospital and formerly worked for Olan Mills Photography. She is a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Walker, son William R. Walker, four brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving: one sister, Mrs. Eddie Velma Pinson of Dumfries, VA, daughter-in-law, Mrs. Pearl E. Cheeks Walker of Greer, SC, five grandchildren, April (Aaron) Fuller of Simpsonville, Karen (Ronnie) Culbertson of Greer, Keith Walker of Greer, William K. (Nicole) Walker of Gaffney and Lisa Walker-Carter of Greer; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
