J. Royal Sherman

Mr. J. Royal “Buck” Sherman, 76, of 812 Cox Street, Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare Center-Greenville East. He was a son of the late Wallace and Josephine Anderson Sherman.

"Buck" was formerly employed at Greenville Transit Authority as a bus driver. He was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Tigerville.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Wanda (Jerry) Drummond of the home; Donna R. Sherman, Franchencia (Marcus) Sherman and Karen Todd, all of Greenville and Suelonda Rogers of Walhalla; sons, James Sherman and Sidney Sherman, both of Spartanburg, Bobby Sherman of Easley and Julius Todd of Greenville; sisters, Betty McKinney of Greenville, Glenda Ballenger and Connie (Bobby) McCarroll, both of Taylors; brothers, Joe Louis Sherman and William D. (Sarah) Sherman, both of Greenville; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
