.Mr. James Herbert Anderson was blessed to live a life fulfilled. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Clarence and Malinda Echoll Anderson.
He was retired from Bellsouth Communications.
A pillar of the entire family, he was there to whoever called. A man who loved traveling and art, he saw beautiful sights all around the world. His doors always open, he made unforgettable memories with those he loved. On November 23, 2016, with heavy hearts we said goodbye but with assurance he is entering another wonderful life.
Left to treasure many fond memories are a daughter, Dollie Jones of the home; sisters, Nancy Thames and Barbara Johnson, both of Greenville, SC, and Jacqueline Hallman of Jamaica Queens, NY; grandchildren, Jordan T. Jones, Jamie M. Dendy, and Jackson A. Bates all of the home; great-grandchild, Anthony “Doodie” Malone, Jr. of the home; special extended family, Travis Smith Burke and Marquis Moore of Clinton, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
