James Arnold

Mr. James Franklin “Red” Arnold, 74, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, April 16, 2018, at North Greenville Hospital. He was the son of John Ira and Mildred Blassingame Arnold.

“Red” was a graduate of Sterling High School Class of 1964 and retired from the United States Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Long Branch Baptist Church.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Sonja (Darnell) Brooks of Philadelphia, PA, and Audrey T. (Joe) Moore of Indianapolis, IN; one son, Kenneth (Veronica) Arnold of Piedmont; one sister, Johnnie Mae Sayles of Greenville; two grandchildren, Stacy Arnold of Greenville and Aaron Brooks of Philadelphia, PA; two great-grandchildren; two aunts, Jo Ella Sullivan and Catherine Cannon, both of Greenville; two special nieces, Tonita Sayles and Carmenlita Sayles; also the mother of Kenneth and Sonja, Dianne Arnold; and a host of other relatives and friends.
