Mr. James Edward Benson, 63, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. He was a son of the late Pauline Benson Plant.
He was married to Uda Benson.
Surviving: in addition to is wife, one daughter, Stephanie Fortson of Midway, AL; one son, James Clarence Benson of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Donna R. Mansell of Pickens, SC, Jacqueline B. Hurst of Easley, SC and Leslie B. Daniel of Pickens, SC; eleven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, October 23, 2023, 12:00noon, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley SC.
