Deacon James H. Butler, Sr., 71, of 203 Ackley Road, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St Francis Hospital Downtown. He was the son of the late Henry Bowens and Minnie Coleman Dendy. He was married to the late Rose Marie Butler.
He is survived by his son; James H. (Jocelyn) Butler, Jr. of Tampa, FL; daughter, Tammy Butler (Alvin) Hamilton of St. Louis MI; sisters, Elizabeth Davis, Dorothy Coleman, Linda Coleman and Mattie Coleman all of Greenville, SC; brothers, Stanley Coleman and Charles (Alfreda) Coleman of Greenville, SC; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
He is survived by his son; James H.
