Mr. James Melvin Chastain, Sr., 75, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at River Falls Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He was a son of the late James William and Ardelphia McGowen Chastain.
Surviving: two sons, James “Jamie” (Cassandra) Chastain, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Stefan A. Chastain of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Odessa Williams of Greenville, SC; one brother, William L. “Pete” (Lucinda) Chastain, Sr. of Greenville, SC; one granddaughter, Stefine B. Chastain of Anderson, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service: Thursday, August 20, 2020, 3:00 pm, at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
