Mr. James Benjamin Hawkins, Sr., 84, of 701 Lincoln Road, Taylors, passed on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at his home. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Preston and Inez Goodwin Hawkins.
Surviving: wife, Floree Williams Hawkins of the home; daughter, Linda J. Hawkins of Taylors; son, Jerry (Lisa) Hawkins, Sr., Jeffrey (Charlene) Hawkins, and Larry (Sharon) Hawkins, all of Greenville; three grandchildren raised in the home, La-Shun (Larry) Martin, La’Cinda J. Brown, both of Greenville and Darryl Cheatham of Taylors; sixteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
