Mr. James Woodrow Meekins Sr., 95, of 330 Chapman Road, Pelzer, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his home. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Washington S. Meekins and Perietta Moore.
Surviving: Is his wife Willie Mae Golden Meekins of the home. daughters; Bessie (Robert) Young, Simpsonville, Janie Jefferson, Blythewood SC, Georgia (Leon) Johnson, Washington DC, Annie Ruth (Leon) Riggins, of Texas, Willie Pearl Collie Fayettville NC, Linda Faye Kinlaw, Madison, AL, son; James ( Michelle) Woodrow Meekins, Jr. thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
