James Miller

Mr. James D.D. “Dev” Miller was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on February 19, 1974. He departed this life on January 11, 2020.

He was educated in the Elizabeth and Roselle, New Jersey School System. In 1998, he moved to Georgia, where he attended Americas Driving Force and received his CDL license. He was employed at Swisher Hygiene and J.W. Outfitters.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Thompson; maternal grandparents, Cornelia and Alvin Miller; and paternal grandmother, Carrie Thompson.

Left to mourn his passing are his mother, Brenda J. Miller-Burgess and stepfather, Richard Burgess; one son, Daquan Miller; four daughters, Amaya, Kayla, Jalicia and Deja, all of Georgia; three grandchildren, Sakai, Nizar and Elijah; two stepbrothers, Richard Burgess and Mark Burgess; two aunts, Joanne Miller of Neptune, NJ, and Delores Miller-Sabur of Carteret, NJ, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends
