James Richardson

Mr. James Jr. Richardson, of 200 Clark Street, Greenville, South Carolina, the widower of Mrs. Virginia Richardson, departed this life on September 10, 2016 at Greenville Health System. Mr. Richardson was born on May 7, 1948, to the late Mr. James, Sr., and Mrs. Marie Wilson Richardson.

At an early age he attended Mount Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville. He attended Greenville County Schools and worked at Consolidated Tire Company. He also worked as a brick mason and an auto mechanic.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Michael A. Richardson and Jeffrey Richey.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: daughter, RoseMary (Joe) Wu of Charlotte, NC; sons, James Alvin Richardson of Greenville; sister, Joyce Hall (John Alvin) Thompson of Greenville; brother, Reginald (Geneva) Richardson of Greenville; a loving and devoted companion, Brenda Simpson of the home; five grandchildren; eleven nieces; thirteen nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
