James Robinson

Mr. James Charles “Duke” Robinson, Sr.,78, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, passed on March 30, 2019, at Prisma Health. He was the son of the late James Charles Robinson and Laura Pressley Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim “Crack” Robinson; and a grandson, Roscoe “Rocky” Chapman.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Maggie B. Sullivan Robinson of Greenville; two daughters, Laura Glendale Chapman and Pastor Robinnette R. (Robert) Smith, both of Greenville; two sons, James C. (Brenda) Robinson, Jr., of Mauldin, and Jackie Ray (Nancy) Robinson of Piedmont; a beloved friend, Hattie Earl of Fountain Inn; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
