James Rogers

Mr. James Richard “Richie” Rogers Jr., 33, of Seneca, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, July 25, 2019. He was a son of the late James Richard, Sr., and Katherine B. Roach Rogers.

He was a high school graduate and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Seneca, where he participated in The Bikers for Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Graham Rogers.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are one son, James Richard Allen “AJ” Rogers of Anderson; mother of his son, Stephanie Hunt of Anderson; a stepdaughter, Faith Childs of Seneca; three sisters, Monica Ravenel of Seneca, and Cora Denise Rogers and Kristie Mae Smith, both of Anderson; a brother, Mitchell Smith of Seneca; his adoptive mother, Donna Franks of Seneca; his adoptive father, Kenny Wright of Seneca; five nieces, Nikki Farmer, Kayla Mays, Katherine (Katie) Smith, Abby Smith and Carmen Galloway; three nephews, Richard Nathaniel, Ravenell Evins, Izik Smith and Zechariah Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
