Mr. James Simpson, 78, of 702 S Fifth Street, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at home. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Carrie Lindsey Simpson and Benjamin Cannon.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Simpson of the home; daughters, Wynona Boston (Bennie) of Mauldin, Emma Simpson of Easley, Teresa (Darryl) Ayers of Greenville, and Patricia Rosemond of Massachusetts; sons, Carl (Ollie) Simpson of Georgia, and Dwayne (Beyonka) Simpson of Seneca; brothers, Robert (Betty) Cannon of Williamston and Wallace Cannon of Liberty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 7, 2015, 3:00 PM, at John Wesley United Methodist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley SC.
