James Smith

Mr. James Clinton Smith was born on January 26, 1953, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late William H. Love and the late Lena Rebecca Smith. He departed this life on Saturday, December 16, 2017.
James Clinton was a member of Mount Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.

James Clinton attended Greenville County public schools and he worked as a carpenter for many years.

He leaves to cherish very fond memories three sons, Taryn Spurgeon, James Christopher (Lakisha) Smith, and Taurean Obrien (Markita) Smith, all of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Monique LaShann (Felix) Smith and Aquarius Smith, both of Greenville, SC; a brother, Herbert Lee (Loretta) Smith of Greenville, SC; five sisters, Doris Cheatham, Deborah Sue Smith, Pamela Sims, Rebecca (Joseph) Gatewood, and Linda "Lulu" Smith, all of Greenville SC; an aunt, Mrs. Evelyn Harris of Greenville, SC; an uncle, Mr. Wallace Fuller of Greenville, SC; a close friend, Nancy Thompson of Greer, SC; sixteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
