Mr. James Benny “J.B.” Smoot, 66, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at his residence. He was a son of the late J.D. and Odessa Hailstock Smoot.
Surviving: one daughter, Andreana Goldsmith of Greenville, SC; one son, Josh Hawthorne of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Marian Briggs, Delphine Dogan and Bridget Thomas, all of Greenville, SC; one brother, Stanley (Teresa) Smoot of Greenville, SC; a host of grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, June 20, 2021, 1:00 pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment at Pinedale Memorial Park.
