Rev. James Calvin Speed, 64, of 5 Avon Street, passed on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at home. Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, he was the son of Maggie Pearl Speed, and the late Marvin Speed.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Sandra G. Speed of the home, mother, Maggie Pearl Speed, of Seneca: daughters; Stacy (James) Speed Presley of Atlanta, Georgia, Tonya Speed of Seneca: son; Eric Speed of Seneca: sister; Cindy Speed of Seneca: brothers; Kenny (Emma) Speed, Lester (Carol) Speed, Jeffrey Speed, and Antrone Speed, all of Seneca; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
