James Washington

Mr. James E. “Buddy” Washington, 85, of 107 Sheffield Drive, Piedmont, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late George and Louella Simpson Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Mae Young Washington.

Surviving: children, Sheener E. Washington of Brooklyn, NY, Barbara W. (Jackie T.) Powell of Ludowici, GA, George S. Washington of Greenville, Tracy J. Washington of Brooklyn, NY, Ramona Goodman of Brooklyn, NY, Joseph J. Johnson of Greenville, and Joynecia N. Washington of Greenville; sister, Betty W. Singleton of Greenville; brother, Benjamin J. (Helen) Washington of Piedmont; eighteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
