Jason Byrd

Mr. Jason Elliot “Jay Byrd” Byrd, 38, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, March 18, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was a son of James Albert Byrd and the late Jeanette Bowens Byrd.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Byrd; maternal grandparents; James and Mary Lee Bowens; and paternal grandparents, James E. and Anna Marie Byrd.

Left to cherish many find and loving memories, along with his father, are one daughter, Jamecia Byrd of Greenville; one son, Asajay Byrd of Greenville; one sister, Angela Byrd of Greenville; one brother, Demetrius Byrd of Greenville; four aunts, Rachel Byrd, Geneva (Horace) Mansel, both of Greenville; and Shirley (Isaac) Booker and Juanita (Gregory) Butler, both of Easley; one uncle, James H. (Debbie) Bowens of Easley; five great-aunts; one great-uncle; and a host of other relatives and friends.
