Mr. Jazy Adams III, 57, transitioned early Monday morning, November 14, 2022, at his residence.
He is the son of Rhudine Miller Adams and the late Jazy Adams, Jr.
He was a member of Allen Temple AME Church and attended Greenville County Schools. Jazy was a 1984 graduate of J. L. Mann High School and later matriculated to Greenville Technical College.
Jazy’s professional career included 15 years as a CAD Engineer and 10 years in Automotive Logistics with Road and Rail Services, a contracting partner of BMW. He was the ideal son, father, brother, uncle, cousin
and friend.
He was also the proud grandfather of his first grandchild, Little Ms. Lenox Novi Byrd.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid basketball player, playing at the YMCA two to three times a week. He played just hours before his transition.
In addition to his loyal mother, Rhudine Miller Adams, Jazy is survived by his only daughter, Jakayla Adams (Tyson Byrd) and three exceptional sons, Joshua Adams of Greer, Ryan Adams of Houston, TX, and Nicholai Shurmer Adams of the home; three sisters who absolutely adored him, Ivy Barksdale, Angela Hall, and Zowonda Young, all of Greenville, SC; brothers who were his best friends, Darrell Anderson of Columbia, SC and Mark Anderson of Atlanta, GA; an older brother Anthony Etheridge of Columbia, SC, and a very special friend, Carmen Peters of Greenville, SC.
Jazy is loved and survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, November 20, 2022, 1:30pm at Allen Temple AME Church with entombment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
