J.C. Dendy

Mr. J.C. Dendy, Jr., 79, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at his home. He was born in Laurens County, South Carolina, a son of the late J.C. Dendy, Sr., and Inez Irby Dendy.

He was formerly employed at Roy Metal Company and was a member of Reedy Fork Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie Mae Dendy; and a brother, Lawrence Dendy.

Surviving: two daughters, Leann “Gail” Dendy(Greg Cureton) of Simpsonville, SC, and Linda Dendy of Spartanburg, SC; two sons, David Dendy (Kay Hamilton) of Greenville, SC, and Tony Dendy of Simpsonville, SC; three brothers, Sam Dendy of St. Paul, MN, Henry Dendy of Laurens, SC, and Leonard Dendy of Simpsonville, SC; three grandchildren, Angie Dendy, Amanda Dendy and Rico Dendy; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
