Jerome Dickey

Mr. Jerome Dickey, 69, of Greenville, South Carolina, was born on June 10, 1948, and departed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in the presence of the love and care of his family. He was the tenth and youngest child of the late Jackson and Georgia Zimmerman Dickey.
He attended Washington High School and retired from Michelin Tire Corporation in 1999. He was a member of Golden Grove Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackson “Tank” Dickey, Jr., and Woodrow Dickey; and four sisters, Annie Grace Adams, Lila Mae Mackey, Dorothy Reese and Shirley Peterson.
Left to cherish many fond memories are the mother of his children, Betty Peters Dickey of Simpsonville, SC; two daughters, Tonya Dickey of Greenville, SC and Karen Dickey of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, D’Cameron Range and DeMarcus Prease Dickey; one sister, JoAnn (Tom) McKenzie of Travelers Rest, SC; two brothers, Gary Dickey and Luther (Lucille) Dickey, both of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
