Jerome Hatton

Mr. Jerome “Juke” Hatton, 78, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, November 25, 2019, at his home. He was a son of the late Lawrence Odell and Virginia Butler Hatton.

He attended Sterling High School and later became an entrepreneur. He was a member of The Equipping Center in Greenville.

“Juke” was preceded in death by three sisters, Constance Hatton, Cynthia Hatton and Yvonne Hatton; and one brother, Joel N. Hatton.

Surviving are one daughter, Jermaine McGriff of Connecticut; his companion, Betty McGriff of New York; one sister, Delores Brooks of Greenville; two brothers, Gene T. Hatton of Greenville and Lawrence Hatton, Jr., of Easley; two grandchildren, Chasity McGriff and Avery McGriff; his companion’s children, Karen McGriff, Rachel McGriff and Allen McGriff, all of New York and a host of other relatives and friends.
