Jerome Mansell

Mr. Jerome “Chief Dog” Mansell, 65, of Greenville passed on January 28, 2021 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was a son of Mattie Chandler and the late Norris Massett.

Surviving: in addition to his mother; his life partner, Gail Lawrence; five daughters, Toshius Jackson, Sherome Wilson, Quincy Mansell, Jennifer Smith, and nakea Ogelsby, all of Greenville, SC; two sons, Jerome (April) Smith and Demarcus Lawrence, both of Greenville, SC; five sisters, Sharon Mansell, Joyce Austin, Gwen Chicks, Blanch Clement, and Judy (Jimmy) Lawrence, all of Greenville, SC; five brothers, Tony (Karen) Mansell, Robert Lee Chandler, Levi (Dawn) Lawrence, James Lawrence (Lucy), and Earl Clement, all of Greenville, SC; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, February 5, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
