Mrs. Jessie Lee Jones Helms, 89, of Hempstead, New York, passed on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late John Thomas Jones and the late Marie Garrett Bowens.
She was the widow of the late Chester Helms.
Surviving: two sisters, Rosa Bray of Pickens, SC and Annie (Arthur) Everett of Hempstead, NY; two brothers, Leroy Jones and WR Bowens, both of Easley, SC; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; host of nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, October 23, 2022, 1:00pm, at New Foundation Baptist Church, with interment in church cemetery.
