Jessie Mae Henderson

Mrs. Jessie Mae McGowan Henderson, 85, departed this life on December 15, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Grover McGowan and Maggie Rosemond McGowan.

She was a graduate of Rosenwald School in Honea Path and retired from County Square where she worked in Administration.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Henderson; a son, Grover Lee Henderson; a grandson, Quinton Beverly; two sisters, Roberta Snipes and Lucille Anderson; and two brothers, Alonzo McGowan and Cleveland McGowan.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a daughter, Loretta (Melvin) Latimer of Belton, SC; a son, Bernell (Beverly) Henderson of Greenville, SC; one sister, Elnora Davis of Honea Path, SC; six grandchildren, Antrone Latimer, Tiffany Douglas, Brandon Irby, Maurice Irby, B.J. Henderson and Rashad Henderson; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
