Mr. Jimmy Jermaine “J.J.” Mattison, 45, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life at Greenville Health System on September 26, 2018. He was a son Rosa Byrd Mattison and the late Jimmy Mattison.
He was a graduate of Woodmont High School and ITT Tech. He was employed by General Electric Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Mattison; his great-grand-mother, Sara Kennedy; and an uncle, Johnny Mattison.
Surviving are his loving mother, Rosa Byrd Mattison of Simpsonville; one daughter, Tashiana Mattison of Greer; one sister, Sharonda Mattison of Fountain Inn; two nephews, Ty’un Mattison and Michael Mattison, both of Fountain Inn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
