Mrs. JoAnn Gray Austin, 81, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Prisma Health – Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Cornell and Myrtle Ferguson Gray. She was the wife of the late Leroy Austin.
Surviving: two daughters, Tammy (Curtis) Maronie of Greenville, SC, Jennifer Austin (Winfred) Wallace of Charlotte, NC; one son, Rodney (Verna) Austin of Piedmont, SC; one brother, James Alfred Gray of Greenville, SC; a godson, Byron (Leslie) Doss of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Ginger Berry, Katie Blythe, and Alexis Austin; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
Visitation: Sunday, October 23, 2022, 1:00pm - 2:00pm, at Aiken Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral Service: Sunday, October 23, 2022, 2:00pm, at Aiken Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in church cemetery.
