Joe Whitner

Mr. Joe Walter Whitner, II, 62, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed on January 16, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. He was a son of the late Luther Thomas Whitner, Sr., and Lillian Webb Whitner.

Left to cherish many fond memories are: his son, Joe (Chelsea) Whitner, III, of Cameron, NC; two stepdaughters, Catherine Tutt of Spartanburg, SC, and Jalissa Tutt of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Johnnie Ruth Thomas and Mary Johnson, both of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Jonas Whitner of Greenville, SC, Sammy Whitner of Union, SC, and Luther (Joyln) Whitner of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
