Mrs. JoeAnn Sims, 72, of 25 Pacific Avenue, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at her home. Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Heyward Williams, Sr. and Dollie Ann Chaplin Williams.
Surviving: daughters, Vickie Sims, Janene Jackson, and Stephanie Sims, all of Greenville; godson, Vau Johnson of Fountain Inn, sisters, Brenda Whitney of Greenville, Gerodine (John) Cannon of Pomaria, Sandra (Donald) Counts of Newberry, and Linda Garmany of Pomaria; brother, Daniel Russell Williams; sister-in-law, Yvonne Williams of Newberry; grandchildren, Tiffany Sims, Tiyah Sims, Treyton Sims, Tamia Sims-Irby, India Jackson, and Kayla Jackson, all of Greenville, and Breanna Hall of Staunton, VA; great-grandson, Kamdyn Sims of Greenville, and a host of other relatives and friends.
