Mr. John Milton (Rocky) Armstrong, 64, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at his residence. He was a son of the late Johnny Furman and Ada C. Hunter Armstrong.
Mr. Armstrong was married to Glenda Gatewood Armstrong for 38 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Deon LaMar Armstrong of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Ella R. Gambrell of Greenville, SC, and Rosetta (Gary) Anderson of Taylors, SC; one brother, Johnny F. Armstrong of Greenville, SC; his father-in-law, William R. Gatewood; four grandchildren, Jaslin, Deon’te, Keon and Carter; his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, October 23, 2023, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
