John Babb

Mr. John Willie “Tootie” “PeeWee” Babb, 82, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at McCall Hospice House. He was born on July 27, 1936, in Cross Hill, South Carolina, a son of the late Wade Tobe Babb and Sally Pearl Pitts Babb.

He was retired from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Janie Ree Massey; two brothers, Jerry Babb and Donald Babb; and a granddaughter, Kelli K. Ford.

Left with many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Pearl Babb of Greenville, SC, and Veronica Walker of Deland, FL; one son, Harold (Deborah) Ford of Palm Coast, FL; one brother, Ernest Babb of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren, Tina (Russell) Sneed, Robert J. (Melonie) Walker, Jr., Bennie L. Babb, Douglas Babb, Ashley Ford, Me’Choun Ford and Inza Ford fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grand-children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
