John Carter

Mr. John Edward “Peanut” Carter, 62, of Greenville, passed on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at home. He was a son of the late Leroy Carter, Sr., and Marie H. Carter McNeil.

Surviving: his wife, Angela L. Glenn Carter of Greenville; two daughters, Keanna Carter (Travis) Pennie and Jasmine Carter, both of Greenville; one son, Elijah Carter of Greenville; two sisters, Dorothy Carter and Marie Carter, both of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Leroy Carter of Pennsylvania, and James Carter of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Uriah Carter, Zaniah Jackson, Kiran Pennie and Adalyn Pennie; and a host of other relatives and friends.
