Mr. John Hopkins, 97, of Pelzer, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Prisma Health-Greenville. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late William and Myra Sullivan Hopkins.
Surviving: three daughters, Johnnie Mae Hopkins Edward of Pelzer, SC, Selma (Lorenzo)Pepper-Funches, and Lorraine Jones of Pelzer, SC; three sons, Ray Hopkins of Pelzer, SC, James Daniels of Mauldin, SC, and Charles Sloan of Newark, NJ; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great--grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, November 28, 2021, 2:00pm, New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery.
