John "Mookie" Hampton

Mr. John Larrell “Mookie” Marqese Hampton, 29, of 90 Community Drive, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Lashone Hampton Finley and John Shell. Stepfather Kirk Finley.

Surviving: In addition to his parents, his loving grandparents who raised him, Eugene and Maggie Fisher; daughters, Damiya Mulwee, and Pashonae’ Fuller, both of Greenville; son, Zion Hampton of Greenville; sisters, Deyoa Mia Wilson, Franchetta Salvage, both of Greenville; brothers; Shaveze Hampton-Finley, Kourtney Hampton, Terrell Cason, Alex Bradley, all of Greenville, Dishshi Young of Columbia, Larecco Campbell of Charlotte, NC, and Jonathan Shell of Greenwood; grandparents; Rena Lynn Shell of Greenville, Charles (Valerie) Barber of Jamaica Queens, NY, Douglas Green, and Bobby Shell; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and a devoted friend, Patrena Spann.

Funeral Service: Friday, April 3, 2015, 4:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
