Mr. John Steen, 70, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at his residence. Born in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late William H. and Alberta Murphy Steen and Lucy Steen.

Surviving: his wife, Brenda Lewis Steen of the home; two daughters, Johnetta Weslesia Steen and Ebony Monique Steen both of Spartanburg, SC; two sons, Hoséa Donavan Steen and Jay’shun Aubrey Steen both of Spartanburg, SC; five sisters, Wilhelmena Lee, Jeanette Layton, Freida (Samuel) Carter, Teresa Steen, and Valerie M. (Bernard) Martin all of Spartanburg, SC; three brothers, Leonard Steen, Douglas Washington and William Washington all of Spartanburg, SC; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
