Mr. John Henry Stevens, Sr., 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at his residence. Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Walter and Pauline Young Stevens.
He was married to the late Georgia Johnson Stevens.
Surviving: three sons, John H. (Terri) Stevens, Jr., of Waldorf, MD, Jermaine and Brandon both of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Sherry (Donald) Lord of Bowie, MD and Kayla Stevens of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Virginia Barksdale and Willie Pearl Thompson both of Greenville, SC; a devoted niece, Betty (Harold) McPhail of Greenville, SC; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, January 4, 2023, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
