Mr. John Wesley Williams, 91, of Greenville, SC, passed Saturday, March 6, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was the son of Jim Williams and Willie Mae Wright.
Surviving: daughters, Gwen (Ernest) Williams of Delaware, Lavern Jenkins of Baltimore, MD and Page Williams; a devoted daughter and caregiver, Beverly cannon of Greenville, SC; two honorary sons, Donte’ Harris and Charles Brock, both of Greenville, SC; one sister, Rosa Mae Porter of Baltimore, MD; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Chris Dirton of Greenville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, March 14, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Due to Covid-19 maximum capacity in Chapel is 50 people or less.
